    35030 - Tai Chi

    Meditation in motion! Tai Chi promotes serenity through gentle, flowing movements in addition to relieving stress, improving range of motion and flexibility. Reduce stress and get an awesome workout. Our instructor has over 28 years of experience as a martial arts instructor and is a 5th degree black belt.
    Korean Tai Chi is a martial arts practice that promotes holistic health using movements involving powerful stretching, breathing and mental focus. The movements are easy to learn, practice and remember. Some of the many benefits of this class include tension relief, increased muscle tone, improved range of motion and flexibility, and increased mental focus and awareness. No special clothing is required. The instructor is Diane Massie, a 5th degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and has practiced martial arts for 28 years.

    35031 - Qigong for athletes

    The ancient practice of Qigong has been adopted by a growing number of athletes - from college teams to a two-time Olympian and Tiger Woods. This class is for anyone 12 and older. Bring your team or come as an individual. Qigong will help give athletes an extra edge in their performance and is great for the injured athlete because it will aid in recovery! Classes will be held outside in Countryside Park - mats or towels are recommended.
