    27040 - Soccer 1

    Whether your child has played before or if this is their first time, this class is made for all levels! Each participant is encouraged to do THEIR very best no matter their skill level. Each player will be challenged based on their skill level they show during the drills. Each class will focus on a specific skill such as dribbling, stopping and turning, passing, shooting and trapping among others. The following weeks will build upon the learned skills and will finish with playing a game. All classes are held indoors, please make sure tennis shoes are worn - shinguards are optional.

    27049 - Soccer "U"

    With the "U" standing for "us", Soccer "U" classes are a fun and positive introduction to soccer for our youngest players and their parents/guardians! Our age-appropriate curriculum engages youngsters with entertaining activities that promote motor skill development and cognitive ability.
    With an adult participating by their side, kids will have fun learning basic soccer skills like chasing, running, kicking and listening.
    Soccer "U" classes are 30 minutes long and meet once a week. Adult participation is required.

    27057 - Intro to Blastball

    This class will focus on the basics of Blastball (a version of T-Ball that the younger players can enjoy). The bat and ball are softer and no gloves are required. The fundamentals of running to first base (which honks as a fun way to encourage them to run fast to get there), hitting the ball off a tee, and eye-hand coordination to stop a moving ball will all be focused on during this fun class.

    27060 - Intro to Archery

    An introduction to the art, practice, and skill of shooting with a bow and arrow. Historically known for hunting and combat, in more modern times it has become a competitive sport and recreational activity. This class will teach the safe and correct usage of equipment and develop beginning archery techniques. The instructor is a Class 4 Archery Coach and is one of the top 150 coaches in the nation! Bows, arrows, targets and guards will be provided. A $20 equipment fee for upkeep and repairs is included in the registration price.

    27062 - Friends & Family Archery

    Friends, family, siblings, and anyone over the age of 9 will learn safe use of equipment and develop beginning archery techniques from one of the top 150 Archery Coaches in the nation! This class is recommended for those who have had little to no experience with archery and are looking to have a good time learning together. Basic equipment care and selection will be covered along with range procedures. Bows, arrows, targets and guards will be provided. A $20 equipment fee for upkeep and repairs is included in the registration price.

    The goal of Parent and Child Aquatics are to provide information that allows the parent to be able to help the child learn techniques to be comfortable and safe in and around the water, develop a readiness for learning to swim, and to learn safety fundamentals.

    31001 - Preschool 1

    Your child will become oriented to the aquatic environment and learn elementary skills such as buoyancy, supported floating, water entry and exit, and alternating arm action.

    Your child will learn to float, glide, and swim on back/front with face in water
    blowing bubbles through mouth and nose. They will also be Introduced to
    treading water, rhythmic breathing and finning arms.

    swimming greater distances on front and back.

    31011 - Level 1

    The objective of Level 2 is to give students success with fundamental
    skills. Students learn to float without support and recover to a vertical
    position. Students will learn how to glide and swim on back/front with face
    in the water blowing bubbles.

    The objective of Level 3 is to swim front crawl with rotary
    breathing and elementary backstroke a minimum
    of 15 yards. Introduce scissor kick, dolphin kick, backstroke
    and head first dives.

    The objective is to improve skills and increase endurance by
    swimming front crawl with rotary breathing and elementary
    backstroke for greater distances. Students continue to build
    upon the scissor kick and dolphin kick by adding the arms for sidestroke and
    butterfly. The back crawl and the breaststroke are introduced

    The objective of Level 5 is to refine performance of the strokes (front crawl, back crawl, butterfly, breaststroke, elementary backstroke and sidestroke) and increase distance. Flip turns on the front and back are introduced.

    35000 - Deep Water Fitness

    Take the plunge! Deep water running and traveling guaranteed to challenge your cardio fitness combined with toning to improve flexibility and increase muscle tone and core strength. Buoyancy belts are provided and create a no impact workout to the joints. Participants exercise in 6-12 feet of water. A shallow water entrance is offered then class moves to deeper water.

    35013 - Rec Fit for Teens

    TEENS!! Are you a teenager who is unsure how to get started in fitness? This class is perfect for you! Ehud Borovoy who will guide you in a fitness program designed to meet your fitness goals. You will learn the proper way to use the equipment in the fitness room, how to work out without weights or machines. Each week you will receive a workout to do during your off days.
    Teens age 14 & 15 will receive a certification (and instructor approval) to use fitness center with out parental/gaurdian supervision.

    Stretch, breath, focus, rejuvenate. Pilates improves flexibility, builds strength and develops control and endurance in the entire body. It puts emphasis on alignment, breathing, developing a strong core, and improving coordination and balance.

    35026 - Intro to Core Dance

    Intro to Core Dance is a moderate/low impact exercise class that targets all muscle groups including deep abdominal muscles that are rarely used in other formats. The class includes aerobic, toning, and stretching exercises and ends with a floor work to strengthen the core muscles. Students will learn basic core dance technique, including posture, rhythmical patterns, isolations, undulations and traveling steps. Each class will include an easy to follow choreography to incorporate new movements. NO dance experience is necessary.

    35030 - Tai Chi

    Tai Chi is a martial arts practice that promotes holistic health using movements involving powerful stretching, breathing and mental focus. The movements are easy to learn, practice and remember. Some of the many benefits of this class include tension relief, increased muscle tone, improved range of motion and flexibility, and increased mental focus and awareness. No special clothing is required. The instructor is Diane Massie, a 5th degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and has practiced martial arts for 28 years.
