    21011 - Level 1

    Children will become oriented to the aquatic environment and learn

    21012 - Level 2

    The objective of Level 2 is to give students success with fundamental
    skills. Students learn to float without support and recover to a vertical
    position. Students will learn how to glide and swim on back/front with face
    in the water blowing bubbles.

    21013 - Level 3

    The objective of Level 3 is to swim front crawl with rotary
    breathing and elementary backstroke a minimum
    of 15 yards. Introduce scissor kick, dolphin kick, backstroke
    and head first dives.

    21014 - Level 4

    The objective is to improve skills and increase endurance by
    swimming front crawl with rotary breathing and elementary
    backstroke for greater distances. Students continue to build
    upon the scissor kick and dolphin kick by adding the arms for sidestroke and
    butterfly. The back crawl and the breaststroke are introduced.

    Adult Beginner Swim Lessons are for adults who have no swimming experience. Basic water skills will be taught from blowing bubbles, floats, gliding, treading water and basic strokes.

    Adult Advanced Beginner Swim Lessons is for the swimmer who is comfortable in water but lacks skill techniques. Basic water skills will be taught from floats, gliding, treading and basic strokes. Instructions are given as to the level that one needs.

    25000 - Deep Water Workout

    Take the plunge! Deep water running and traveling guaranteed to challenge your cardio fitness combined with toning to improve flexibility and increase muscle tone and core strength. Buoyancy belts are provided and create a no impact workout to the joints. Participants exercise in 6-12 feet of water. A shallow water entrance is offered then class moves to deeper water.

    25013 - Intro to Core Dance

    Intro to Core Dance is a moderate/low impact exercise class that targets all muscle groups including deep abdominal muscles that are rarely used in other formats. The class includes aerobic, toning, and stretching exercises and ends with a floor work to strengthen the core muscles. Students will learn basic core dance technique, including posture, rhythmical patterns, isolations, undulations and traveling steps. Each class will include an easy to follow choreography to incorporate new movements. NO dance experience is necessary.

No special clothing is required. The instructor is Diane Massie, a 5th degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and has practiced martial arts for 28 years.

    25057 - Couch to 5k

    This class is for anyone who wants to participate in their first 5k. We will meet inside when the weather is bad and outside when the weather permits to begin our journey together! All ages are welcome to sign up; however due to running inside on the track, we do ask no strollers be used in this class. The first family member is $50 and each additional is only $25!! Fees do not include the race registration.

    Kids'N'Crafts-Nature Edition. Each week you and your child will create exciting crafts using items from nature collected in our Countryside Park.     26021 - LiL Critter Kitchen

    Required: Potty training. Your child will enjoy measuring & mixing recipes in this class. Food combinations will make this exciting as they get a taste of cooking. A 30 minute supervised play swim time is included. Please have your child wear their swimsuit under their clothes; bring a back pack with a towel.
    It's a messy and fun time in the kitchen! Little ones will enjoy getting dirty while preparing an edible treat. Kids will mix and measure while learning basic nutritional facts. One item will be prepared in each class Potty training required.

    26026 - Giggles, Wiggles & Swim

    A variety of gym activities to improve motor skills, balance and strength will be explored in this class. Combines with a 30 minute swim time in our recreational pool with rain tree and frog slide. Adventurous youngsters can try out the new water slides (height permitting). Please have your child wear their swimsuit under their clothes and bring a backpack with a towel. Potty training required.

    26032 - It's Playtime

    Drop in with your preschooler ages 1-6 for a morning of fun on our soft, preschool appropriate play equipment. This morning activitiy physically challenges preschooolers while keeping them entertained. Playing with others also provides the benefits of group socialization.     27001 - Tae Kwon Do Beginner

    Your child will love the challenge of this martial art activity. Our program is designed to teach focus, concentration, muscle development, balance, and gross motor coordination within the context of Tae Kwon Do. Their training will also target behavior development, awareness of others, self-confidence and character development. Students in the beginner class do not belt test and a uniform is not required. Our class is taught by a family with more than 40 years combined Tae Kwon Do experience, each with a black belt ranking.

    27002 - Tae Kwon Do Intermediate

    Build upon skills learned in the previous class to increase knowledge and discipline of the sport. Develop strength with increasingly challenging calisthenics and aerobic Tae Kwon Do moves, balance in the form of focused kicking actions, coordination in the form of sparring drills, speed in the form of striking and kicking exercises, concentration in the form of pattern memorization, and focus in the form of eye-hand and eye-foot target exercises. Belt testing occurs at this level (except during the summer sessions). All tests are designed to allow instructors to evaluate the students based upon their individual abilities, encouraging students to excel to their personal best. Our class is taught by a family with more than 40 years combined Tae Kwon Do experience, each with a black belt ranking.

    27021 - Tiny Tumblers

    A fun and social introduction to tumbling that preschoolers will enjoy. This class is designed for 3 year old children who are now ready to enjoy a class independent of a parent in an environment with other students and a teacher. This program will focus on listening and cooperative skills, motor movement/development as well as having a lot of fun on the gymnastics equipment.
    An introduction to the fun and skills of tumbling. Skills to be learned include forward/backward rolls, balance skills on equipment, large muscle motor skills, strength, running/jumping. This class develops listening skills, socialization, self esteem and following directions. (5 classes)

    27022 - Preschool Tumbling

    For preschool-age children 4-5 years old who need more challenge, can follow directions, and are ready to work more independently. Children will learn skills to include forward/backward rolls, running/jumping, large muscle motor skills and balance skills all while further developing listening skills, socialization and cooperative skills.

    27023 - Youth Tumbling

    Program emphasis is on fun and safety. Each child will be instructed as to the proper technique and form used to correctly execute tumbling skills. Skills include balance, floor tumbling, spring board, and uneven bars. This program is strictly recreational and competitiveness is not emphasized in any way. No previous tumbling skills required.

    27049 - Soccer "U"

    With the "U" standing for "us", Soccer "U" classes are a fun and positive introduction to soccer for our youngest players and their parents/guardians! Our age-appropriate curriculum engages youngsters with entertaining activities that promote motor skill development and cognitive ability.
    With an adult participating by their side, kids will have fun learning basic soccer skills like chasing, running, kicking and listening.
    Soccer "U" classes are 30 minutes long and meet once a week. Adult participation is required.

    27057 - Intro to Blastball

    This class will focus on the basics of Blastball (a version of T-Ball that the younger players can enjoy). The bat and ball are softer and no gloves are required. The fundamentals of running to first base (which honks as a fun way to encourage them to run fast to get there), hitting the ball off a tee, and eye-hand coordination to stop a moving ball will all be focused on during this fun class.

    27060 - Intro to Archery

    An introduction to the art, practice, and skill of shooting with a bow and arrow. Historically known for hunting and combat, in more modern times it has become a competitive sport and recreational activity. This class will teach the safe and correct usage of equipment and develop beginning archery techniques. The instructor is a Class 4 Archery Coach and is one of the top 150 coaches in the nation! Bows, arrows, targets and guards will be provided. A $20 equipment fee for upkeep and repairs is included in the registration price.
