    27001 - Tae Kwon Do Beginner

    Your child will love the challenge of this martial art activity. Our program is designed to teach focus, concentration, muscle development, balance, and gross motor coordination within the context of Tae Kwon Do. Their training will also target behavior development, awareness of others, self-confidence and character development. Students in the beginner class do not belt test and a uniform is not required. Our class is taught by a family with more than 40 years combined Tae Kwon Do experience, each with a black belt ranking.

    27002 - Tae Kwon Do Intermediate

    Build upon skills learned in the previous class to increase knowledge and discipline of the sport. Develop strength with increasingly challenging calisthenics and aerobic Tae Kwon Do moves, balance in the form of focused kicking actions, coordination in the form of sparring drills, speed in the form of striking and kicking exercises, concentration in the form of pattern memorization, and focus in the form of eye-hand and eye-foot target exercises. Belt testing occurs at this level (except during the summer sessions). All tests are designed to allow instructors to evaluate the students based upon their individual abilities, encouraging students to excel to their personal best. Our class is taught by a family with more than 40 years combined Tae Kwon Do experience, each with a black belt ranking.

    Acquire advanced skills and continue to build upon current skills. This class is for the student who has successfully demonstrated skills and knowledge of the sport through completing belt testing, participating in the Intermediate and Beginner level classes, or through training under another program. Our class is taught by a family with more than 40 years combined Tae Kwon Do experience, each with a black belt ranking.

    27021 - Tiny Tumblers

    A fun and social introduction to tumbling that preschoolers will enjoy. This class is designed for 3 year old children who are now ready to enjoy a class independent of a parent in an environment with other students and a teacher. This program will focus on listening and cooperative skills, motor movement/development as well as having a lot of fun on the gymnastics equipment.
    An introduction to the fun and skills of tumbling. Skills to be learned include forward/backward rolls, balance skills on equipment, large muscle motor skills, strength, running/jumping. This class develops listening skills, socialization, self esteem and following directions. (5 classes)

    27022 - Preschool Tumbling

    For preschool-age children 4-5 years old who need more challenge, can follow directions, and are ready to work more independently. Children will learn skills to include forward/backward rolls, running/jumping, large muscle motor skills and balance skills all while further developing listening skills, socialization and cooperative skills.

    27023 - Youth Tumbling

    Program emphasis is on fun and safety. Each child will be instructed as to the proper technique and form used to correctly execute tumbling skills. Skills include balance, floor tumbling, spring board, and uneven bars. This program is strictly recreational and competitiveness is not emphasized in any way. No previous tumbling skills required.

    27030 - Rock Climbing 1

    This class will allow young beginning climbers the opportunity to climb and boulder on our 24 foot high wall. No certification will be given.

    27035 - Volleyball 1

    Learn the basics of volleyball to include serving, passing, setting and hitting along with some team play principles. Volleylite balls will be used for this class. Knee pads are recommended. This class is taught by Kathleen Washington, who played at Rutgers University and went on to play professionally in France.

Each player will be challenged based on their skill level they show during the drills. Each class will focus on a specific skill such as dribbling, stopping and turning, passing, shooting and trapping among others. The following weeks will build upon the learned skills and will finish with playing a game. All classes are held indoors, please make sure tennis shoes are worn - shinguards are optional.

    27049 - Soccer "U"

    With the "U" standing for "us", Soccer "U" classes are a fun and positive introduction to soccer for our youngest players and their parents/guardians! Our age-appropriate curriculum engages youngsters with entertaining activities that promote motor skill development and cognitive ability.
    With an adult participating by their side, kids will have fun learning basic soccer skills like chasing, running, kicking and listening.
    Soccer "U" classes are 30 minutes long and meet once a week. Adult participation is required.

    27057 - Intro to Blastball

    This class will focus on the basics of Blastball (a version of T-Ball that the younger players can enjoy). The bat and ball are softer and no gloves are required. The fundamentals of running to first base (which honks as a fun way to encourage them to run fast to get there), hitting the ball off a tee, and eye-hand coordination to stop a moving ball will all be focused on during this fun class.

    27060 - Intro to Archery

    An introduction to the art, practice, and skill of shooting with a bow and arrow. Historically known for hunting and combat, in more modern times it has become a competitive sport and recreational activity. This class will teach the safe and correct usage of equipment and develop beginning archery techniques. The instructor is a Class 4 Archery Coach and is one of the top 150 coaches in the nation! Bows, arrows, targets and guards will be provided. A $20 equipment fee for upkeep and repairs is included in the registration price.

    27062 - Friends & Family Archery

    Friends, family, siblings, and anyone over the age of 9 will learn safe use of equipment and develop beginning archery techniques from one of the top 150 Archery Coaches in the nation! This class is recommended for those who have had little to no experience with archery and are looking to have a good time learning together. Basic equipment care and selection will be covered along with range procedures. Bows, arrows, targets and guards will be provided. A $20 equipment fee for upkeep and repairs is included in the registration price.
